M3S has developed and produced the TBO®, a self-contained, multi-mission military rebreather that can be worn on the front and/or back, and vice versa.
Our goal is to create the safest and most technologically advanced machine possible.
The TBO® is a simple, minimalist, and lightweight closed-circuit rebreather (CCR TBO). It can be used at all depths, with pure oxygen from 0 to 7 meters, with Nitrox or air from 7 to 40 meters, and with Trimix beyond 40 meters.
The TBO® design complies with EN 14143:2013.
Throughout the development of the TBO®, we took care to minimize the number of metal parts to ensure optimal magnetic hygiene and maintain it. As a result, the TBO® is a robust and non-magnetic rebreather that is also lightweight, weighing less than 15 kg.
The versatility of our NGC electronics allows the TBO® to be configured as either a mechanical Closed Circuit Rebreather (mCCR) or an adaptive Closed Circuit Rebreather (aCCR).
The TBO® configuration is tailored to the operational needs of the users. Rebreather carrying method, loop color, canister size, PpO₂ management, decompression model, and cybersecurity are among the key considerations when defining the TBO® to meet operational requirements.
